SUSBIND presented at the first Austrian-Dutch Network Event

On the initiative of the Austrian embassy in the Netherlands and the Austrian Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research, a networking event between Austrian and Dutch science and research institutes and universities was organized on March 21-22. This remarkable event was hosted by H.E. Ambassador Heidemaria Gürer in her official residence in the Hague, Netherlands.

Among the approximately 60 guests were people from Dutch and Austrian politics, science and university, including six university rectors. In many cases, Dutch organizations were represented by Austrians, whereas the Austrian organizations were represented by Dutch people.

As such, the Dutchman Erik van Herwijnen presented Wood K plus as a successful example of Austrian Comet centers. In his presentation, he demonstrated the cooperation between Austrian, Dutch, and other organizations in the SUSBIND project. A good omen for this project was given by data presented by the Austrian and Dutch funding agencies FFG and RVO, which showed that projects comprising Austrian and Dutch partners have a higher success rate than the H2020 average.
